At Roding we want every child to “be the best they can be”. To this end I am proud to say that we have a highly experienced, dedicated team of teaching and support staff who work tirelessly for the benefit of every child. We pride ourselves in the range of exciting and stimulating learning activities that occur both in and out of the classroom for all our children throughout the school.

Roding is rather a unique school as we not only have dedicated provision for 34 deaf children but manage the Outreach provision for deaf children aged 0 -18 in Redbridge. Throughout the school we ensure that every child is fully integrated within the age appropriate class and supported by trained skilled teaching and non teaching staff. Our deaf children are an integral part of our everyday life here at Roding, so much so that we have established recent signing sessions for every child in the Early Years.

Our aim is not only to maximise children’s achievement through an enriched and varied curriculum but to ensure children develop a strong sense of self worth and independence. Children have many opportunities to excel at Roding. We aim to develop their potential in a fun, friendly and supportive environment.
